Album Of The Week: Maria McCormack’s second album ‘Matters of the Heart’ is available on BandCamp now

This  second album from MARIA MCCORMACK was originally born before covid and was crowdfunded before any lockdowns took place.

Roll on 3 years later and Maria has 2 more children , Laura May and Tara and also cared for her mother who she sadly lost in November last year.

Like Maria’s debut album ‘I Choose to Love’ it has different styles from track to track.

Album of the Week: Matters of the Heart is the second album from Donegal singer/songwriter Maria McCormack.

The album starts off with a gypsy jazz song ‘Girl with Good Intentions and ends with a beautiful slow piano and cello lament called Unexpected Waves.

The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song Queen of the Town. 

Produced, recorded and mastered by Billy Robinson in the Grooveshack recording studio in Ramelton ,Co.Donegal. With a host of incredible musicians.
