I had the wonderful opportunity to work with one of Ireland’s fastest rising folk acts last summer when they came to play a beautiful show upstairs at Bridge Street pub in Castlebar.
I am delighted to hear that today (March 20th) the two-piece have just released their 4 track ep Oil and Wine. It really is an EP you should turn all loud in the solitary confinement of your own apartment
You can check out the second track from the EP here now called Libra
Premiering right now over on EARMILK.
“In “Libra,” an intense pageantry follows Quirke and Kinsella as they play opposite sides of the same person, surrounded by knavish, demonic obstacles and memories. Quirke’s vocal is full of a different kind of dichotomy, in turns icy and full of warmth, fragile and unbreakable.”
