Safe And Home is the band’s first single released from Stripey Socks. The song can best be described as putting Paramore and Twin Atlantic into a blender.
Clocking in at 4 mins. Lead Vocalist Aoife McAuley Stamp delivers a powerful performance over the chaotic and thunderous noises the band aims to achieve throughout the track.
The song deals with themes of insecurity and rebellion, particularly relating to a 20 something year old growing up in the world and trying to find their place in life.
The track, being the band’s first song from Stripey Socks perhaps best represents the main themes the E.P strives to attain, in both a lyrical and musical context.
