Mark’s debut single “Catch a Tear” (2021) was accompanied by a truly inventive video captured by Kodaline’s Jay Boland.
The popular follow-up single titled “All In Your Head” (2022) – recorded in U2’s Windmill Lane – featured Elbow’s Rick Jupp on drums behind an infectious, hook-filled anthem.
The track marks the announcement of the artist songwriter, producer’s debut EP, “Brighter Side of Sorrow”.
On “I Hope You Find Happiness”,Caplice says:
“At the core, the song is about losing someone, and wishing them the best for their next chapter. A brother, a lover and a family member all left my life at the same time in different ways and it’s a message of love to each of them.
It’s also an important part of my new EP Brighter Side of Sorrow. That period of my life heavily formed who I am today.
It showed me how fickle life is and how nothing is permanent so “I Hope You Find Happiness” is an integral part of the Brighter Side of Sorrow.” On this six-track EP, Caplice co-produced tracks with Gavin Glass, Scott Halliday, and Kieran Lane with Philip McGee on mixing duties.
