Christian Wethered is an artist that we have being listening to a lot over the past two years. He continues to write fantastic music with beautiful melodies. He recently released his new single “Wait” and it continues to get played on our playlist here at Finbar Hoban Presents.
Wethered pron. wether-red’] is a poet and songwriter based in Dublin. His debut album, ‘Mon Petit Jardin’, featured in the Top 30 Folk Albums 2021 by Hotpress.
His music was played on RTE1, Midlands103 and TodayFM, and he also released two music videos on the Hot Press Youtube channel. He has most recently played at Hot Press’ Y&E, The Ruby Sessions, Electric Picnic, Ireland Music Week and First Fortnight.
Christian Wethered has being making a name for himself on the Irish music scene
Wethered also currently sings in the Discovery Gospel Choir, and performs poetry and spoken word across Ireland. His debut poetry book, was co-winner of the Melita Hume Prize in 2021 and is due in 2022.
