Track of the Day: Vickers Vimy hit the road for the Wild Atlantic Coast on latest single

Latest release from VICKERS VIMY see’s the band in a upbeat mood. “Waltz of the Atlantic”.

If you are a fan of Springsteen’s Steinbeck America (well known for his ‘Of Mice and Men’ and Grapes of Wrath novels) this will be right up your street. Just like the Seegers Sessions or Ghost of Tom Joad, Vickers Vimy conjure up the spirits of these characters just as well. And these characters have stories to tell.

Speaking with Eamonn Mulderrig of the band he tells us Waltz of the Atlantic is an elegy for the lost. A song about the undertow of fear and its redemption in the kindness of strangers.

Track of the Day:,West Coast of Ireland group VICKERS VIMY evoke their Mayo roots on new single ‘Waltz of the Atlantic’

The band have become a great touring group over the past few months performing in a number of venues. Wild of the Atlantic sees them to write and continue to support new music in the West of Ireland to great success indeed.

Vickers Vimy sound on this latest release sees the band mature for all the right reasons. Long May it continue. More of this we reckon!
