Mayo songwriter Martin Faraway releases his best song to date, Listen here

After having a chance to listen to the brand new track from Mayo singer song writer Martin Faraway  we have to say that we think that this is one of the best singles the artist has released yet!! The song itself is so well produced. And yes it is a really great song! 

Mayo singer/songwriter Faraway Martin tells a story of a couple’s life together, from beginning to bitter end. Each time we hear the repetition of the line The Lights Turn On’,  it represents a different stage of the couple’s life together with the most notable line coming from the final stanza ‘the lights turn off’

The Lights Turn On is the first single from the self titled debut Ep,scheduled for release in September. Faraway Martin has a voice that is the perfect vehicle for a pop song yet carries depth and maturity through out which really connects with the listener. The RTE Recommends Artist has established himself as a liveact in Qatar, his adopted home in the Middle East, recently playing support to internationalpop sensationBazzi and Boyce Avenue, of YouTube fame. Here inIreland, he has opened shows for Mick Flannery, Aslan, Mundy and Hermitage Green, played main stagein Whelan’s, The Workman’s Club and filled the Roisin Dubh for his first headline gig. The Mayo man made isdebut appearance at Electric Picnic last year.
