Oscar Mild are a four piece indie folk band gathering from Connaught

Galway local, Philip Mc Mahon is the bands singer and songwriter. Tomas Concannon from the electronic rock outfit (Bury me with my money) is on bass and seasoned musician Sean Wynne is on the drums. On lead guitar and overseeing the band’s production is Joseph Padfield. Joe’s experience working with bands like Bannered Mare, Race the flux & Pockets over the past 15 years, has been a major influence in the creation of Oscar Milds unique sound and sets the band apart as a fresh voice in the indie folk scene.

The band’s debut single “Sit Right” received a very warm welcome when released in 2019 receiving great praise from critics and fans alike. Oscar Mild were named officially by 8 Radio’s Jason Collins and Knockanstockan’s Adam Nolan, as ‘One to Watch’ in 2019.

Oscar Mild have just released their brand new EP titled ‘The Boy Who Fell from the Sea

The band took some time to work on other projects in late 2019, but have re-grouped in 2020 to release the much anticipated EP titled “The Boy who fell from the Sea”. The five track EP explores the topics of love, loss and personal exploration and is available to stream on all major platforms.
